How to get to good country roads out of downtown brisbane?

As my username suggests I am new to brizzy. How do I get out of city onto a good country road without having to put my bike in my car and driving out to a starting spot for a long ride ~56 miles? Is there something good that goes east towards the ocean I can get too via the river path or something??

I need responses asap cause I want to go ride right now

what are transitions?

I’m looking at a map it looks like I can get out to highway 31 quite easily just west, looks hilly but good for long ride. Is that a bike friendly road?
