I do not think Tri Bike Transport is being used for IMLOU…what are other options beside buying a bike case for $350 and paying extra for the plane?

Have your LBS pack in a cardbox box and send it to one of the 3-4 VERY nice bike shops in Mad Town.
It’s tough to beat online tracking and personal service. Much better than the dreaded wait at baggage wondering if your bike box was bumped from the flight.

Inside Out Sports (www.insideoutsports.com) is also providing service for Ironman Louisville. They provide an address that you can ship your bike to, and then they receive the bike, reassemble it, and give it a pre-race tune-up.
