Used to be almost constant. Until I started doing a lot of time trials.
This being my “comeback” season, I’ve tweaked it a lot, trying to get lower (I’ve pretty much maxed out my current equipment, and it’s not low enough). Next steps are going to require some equipment changes, possibly including a new frame…
Once I find my position, I don’t tweak anything if I can help it. Takes a while to get to that point though… I’ve got a new TT bike that still isn’t quite there yet.
Pretty much on a monthly basis. I find the body changes and can then tolerate differnet positions that it couldn’t before. The biggest thing is start with a really good professional bike fit. Then go from there. its the end of the season so I moved my seat even further forward (5cm in front of the bb) and dropped the front end from about 16cm to 21.5 cm. This is on one of my Zipps. The other one stays the same as before so I can ride either one and notice a differnece, and whether it works or not without having to change parts and postion on the same bike. Thats one big advantage to having 2 bikes setup exactly the same.
