Don’t forget to bring the family size KFC, the football helmet full of peanut butter, the 12 inch dildo and the naked pictures of bea arthur. We need those for the special needs bag.

“How much stuff do you bring to a race?”
Too much. It was such a relief when I stepped totally away from tri training in 1997 and went back to just running. It was so nice to go to a running race and, all I would have to take along with me in a small bag were my racing shoes and my singlet. Compare to going to a triathlon when you feel like you are carting along a small mobile sporting goods store!
