I’d day the going rate here in the Chicago area for decent sports massage therapists is about $80-$90/hr. I’ve had good luck with Athletico (one of my team’s sponsors). If you have a massage school in your area, they sometimes offer deals with their students and/or teachers. I prefer to go to folks who regularly work on cyclists and/or runners or whom are athletes themselves. They tend to understand more what we’re going through.
BTW, the best rates I have ever gotten were $50/hr at the UW Health Center, but that was in the late-90s.
