I have a Trek 1200 (first bike) road bike that I got in 1998. I paid $725 for it back then and didn’t really ride it too much until recently. It’s in decent condition, definitely needs a new wheel set and is a good bike, I just have no idea how much is reasonable to ask for when selling it, any suggestions??
Search ebay closed auctions for a similiar bike. Ebay is a great resource as it will tell you what people are willing to pay for your item in the real world. Unlike a price in a book or an estimate, this is what the market will pay.
