I did WF long course last weekend. I raced hard, but not on the rivit. I’ve had a pretty easy week so far this week (2x run, 2x ride, 1x swim)
My coach had a fit when I told him I wanted to do a bike race this weekend - in fact he didn’t even want me to ride both Saturday and Sunday. So I’m doing a 1:10 - 1:20 run on Saturday and 2:30 ride on Sunday and I feel like I want to do at least twice that amount of volume.
Am I really going to get more improvement by taking it easy one week after a hard event like WF? How many of you are racing this weekend if you did WF?
