How many wedges?

Just wondering if anyone uses more than the standard one or two?

Are you talking about forefoot under the cleat medial (usually) wedges (i.e. LeMond Lewedges or BigMeat)? If so, you use what you need via measurement with either a professional who knows what they are doing or the “FFMD” forefoot measuring device supplied to bike shops that does a decent job.

I’ve yet to see a cyclist who needed just 1 since they are so small (less than 1mm).

Yeah, leWedge or BigMeats in this case. I am playing around a bit and went from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 and then magically my left knee finally came off the top tube. Was wondering if this is an extreme amount. I am certainly not sold on 4 wedges, and re-reading some old posts some seem to think that the problem can be corrected by just focusing on keeping the heel in. Since your up, you should check out my position critique post as you always have good ideas. Anyway, thanks.

Can’t comment on your knee alignment from those videos, obviously, but your position looks great! Not sure I could hold that for very long, but great for short course racing. I had a hard time getting past those toe warmers though - kinda’ mesmerizing …

Saw Tom’s comment and is likely spot on. You may be giving up too much power with that position? Only a couple of ways to find out!
