Fun site that goes through US Census data to see if there are other people with your same name. My last name is hyphenated and it doesn’t take hypens so they smash both names together. In that case, I am unique.
But, there are 1,425,115 people with my first name. Thanks alot, Mom
444 of me (first and last name) in the US. Strangely enough, one of them used to live about a quarter mile away from me, and had an account at the same bank. Never met him, though.
I’ve googled myself before, and discovered that I’m lost in a sea of better known people with my same name. I’m apparently a Broadway producer and a well known professor of psychology (deceased). I wrote a book entitled Sex, Dissidence, and Damnation. I’ve had my medication stolen in North Carolina. More disturbingly, I’m a person of about the same age who went missing in Australia some years ago.
Ok wait a second. I just put my wife’s name in there and it said there are 2 people in US. However the white pages in my state list way more than that?
The estimate is there are 6 of me in the U.S. which seems about right (I have googled myself a few times). Then there are the millions of people who have the same name but spell it 85 different ways and the parents think its original. I think there are 27 ways to spell Makayla, for example.
There are 24 people in the U.S. named Chris Esposito. There are 21,407 people in the U.S. with the last name Esposito. Judging by how often I’m asked to spell it here in WA vs NY, I’d say it’s more an east coast (or northeast) name.
Yeah, I don’t think it is entirely accurate. It tells me I am unique, but I know of at least a couple other people with the same name. (Yeah I’ve googled myself before, so what? ;-))
