I know there are quite a few guys on here that would ride it (in all fairness, I think I still have smartass on the fence with it.)
There are several bike companies making “ladies specific” bikes, they get little bit different geometry, and then put cute cuddly flowers on them and call it a “ladies” bike.
How many ladies really just want a hardcore, aggressive, race machine?
front wheel needs to be a pink IO five spoke instead…that would be cool.
Just in case nobody notices, the chainring bolts are also pink. Attention to detail…
I know C’dale makes pink chainring bolts for the Si crank, because a friend of mine (male) has them on his.
I am a man, and I would be proud to ride that bike.
Smartasscoach would sell his car and probably one kidney for a race photo on that bike, I am sure of it.

Are you sure this is a “ladies specific” bike? Hint: the Giro leader wears a pink jersey, and Cipollini rode a Cannondale when on Saeco.
I had a bike almost as pink as that one time. Nice ride, and very manly. Now thaty I am old and slow, I probably wouldn’t ride it.
I totally would, mostly to irritate my boyfriend. In fact I pointed out a pink Aegis to him at the Honolulu Tri and he said no way he’d be seen riding with me on that.
If I were any good (which I am not) I would definitely ride that! If for no other reason than to offend sensibilities.
pedals too…a lot of work went into making that bike THAT pink.

Only on Slowtwitch can we ask a question for the ladies and have nine guys answer it first. Reminds me of a ladies tupperware party, ask a question about guys and you know who the experts are.
My question is, are ladies being short changed in the bike department? Currently the market tells them they either have to go low performance, or ride a gender nuetral bike. Do ladies want there own superride, or is it just a male thing?

I know. You’ve posted pictures of you and Sergio and Pedro being studly with your car in the background. That is why I added in one essential organ as well. You’d be amazed at the prices organs will fetch on the black market… ESPECIALLY IN PORTUGAL!

On a side note, I think they missed a real opportunity by not using pink bar tape
I thought it was intended for the Giro, hence the pink.
I’m not a chick, but I have seen Tri chicks at races with totally “pinked out” bikes, (including one who went custom paint to get hers that way, helmet, the works), so I’m sure there’s somebody out there who’d buy that in a heartbeat.
Cippo could pull that off too. Plus, Telekom are a bunch of pinkos.
And of course there’s always Pinkboy.
Maybe someday I’ll buy one for my daughter, she looks great in pink. (for now, she has to ‘settle’ for the Giant tricycle w/ custom flame paintjob)
I believe it’s the bike Simoni road in the Tour after the Giro.
