and where are you staying? Got a suite @ the hampton for me & the family. My seven year old son is going to do the meek & mighty this year. I can’t wait to watch him!

i’m going for the first time and will be there from friday afternoon to monday afternoon. is there anything good to do down there pre or post race (or even friday night) besides the touristy stuff, i.e. parties or local hot spots? (i’m sure if the race was on saturday morning there would be some better post race parties but that’s not the reason we’re all going…i think?)

Lots to do here in the Tampa Bay area!! PM me your personal interests and I will try and point you in the right directions. Would be nice for all of us ST’s to get together at some point during the weekend.

Do you have any suggestions for decent priced accomodations near the site? I remember a row of motels across from the site but do not recall the names.

And we would definitely be up for a slowtwitch meeting - about 6 girls coming down in our group.

Hmmmm…I had to think long and hard how I wanted to reply to this post. Why dost thou tempst me?

I live approx 10-15 minutes tops from the race site but haven’t been down that way in month as nice as it is so I am not sure either what the motels are down there. Plus there are so many.

SO, what I will do, is take a ride down there this weekend, scope out places and rates and post them here for everone going to SA and coming from out of town.

I am pretty sure a fellow ST’r from NC has dibs on my guest bedroom. Possibly bringing a couple of other racers as well. And another is taking my room. Otherwise, I’d offer up my humble abode.

Please PM me if you don’t see this information posted by Monday morning. Would help if you also PM’d me with what your idea of reasonable is. I have a great friend who is the Director of Finance of a beatiful Doubletree ,I think it is, down here on the water. Will also see if he can cut a break.
