How Long of a Break is Too Long?

So I’ve been racing tris of all distances over the last 5 years, and need a mental and perhaps physical break. My last race was Alcatraz in June. I’ve doubled up my cycling, my best event, and have not run or swam since then. I break in to a new AG next year, so do intend to race come April. I just want some time off of runing, especially given that I live In Orlando where the heat and humidity is just plain nasty right now. How long of a break is too long - meaning, is there a range of time where If I go too long it’s like starting over? I fully expect to have a ramp-up time to get back into prime running and swimming shape, and that’s okay. Perhaps the increased aerobic engine from the heavy cycling I am doing will carry over. Just want some general feedback, and I understand every body reacts differently.
