You can win on a mountain bike with 6 inches of suspension, 2.5"knobbies, while wearing a wide brim cowboy hat, swim goggles, a wetsuit and a long flowing red cape.

I won races on Tufos and Conti tubulars in my days. It is possible 
It is not possible. Drafting and huge drug use with the help of the RD digging a tunnel for you to ride an electric golf cart to the finish line is the only way. Tufos don’t even roll forward. They are so slow they can only roll backwards. I can’t tell you how much they suck. It horrible and I can’t go on knowing that Tufos have destroyed more lives then Kevin Costner has destroyed films.

Tires? Huh? I only see one Tufo there…so it’s only half as bad as it could’ve been 
Nobody ever said you couldn’t win on Tufos. You just have to work harder doing it.
