Appreciate the feedback, though it is the calibration value consistency that I was interested in, not the CdA value… Reason I wish to “pin this element down” is that I am 9 months into using an aero measuring device and for 95%+ of my sessions CdA values (for a particular set-up) are very consistent within a session and day to day, in anything but “strong winds”. It is the calibration factor calculation that is the proverbial “pain in the butt”, with only approximately 10% of sessions delivering consistent (within 1%) calibration factors (for particular set-ups), and those 10% not coincidentally on those rare around here days of negligible wind… If I can find an aero-measuring device that performs calibration factor consistency as well as it delivers CdA value consistency in “windy conditions”, take my money… as I would be able to aero-test outdoors with confidence that my session probably wont be wasted… But I need the proverbial “shed load of data” on this up-front to convince me, and so far I haven’t seen such data with the gibli, or any other in-market, in-development device, yet…
