How do you stay cool when training??
That’s a funny cartoon. It’s brutally hot down here in South Georgia right now. The heat index is between 105 and 115 daily. Humidity is suffocating. And it’s not much better early in the mornings. I went out Thursday morning at 6:00 to run 10 miles (2 laps of a 5 mile loop). My 10 miler got cut back to 8 miles after about 25 minutes of running. I timed the last mile of the first 5 mile loop. It was 9:49, and I was covered in sweat and barely shuffling my feet. I just threw up my hands and walked to the truck and went home. It was one of the most miserable runs I’ve ever experienced.
