How good is your geography?

if you think this map is correct, you suck!

LOL that’s a good one
.

Along the same lines as the article, when I worked in Toronto we had a British couple ask us how long it would take to drive to BC. I asked them how long they thought it would take. They thought by driving really fast, they could do it in less than a day. I loved the look on their faces when I told them it would take a day to get out of Ontario. hehehe

Like when we visited SD and D’Wife said we should drive up to SF for the day.

I don’t think that map’s “No Child Left Behind” compliant.

Kind of like the Americans that land in London and allocate 2 days to drive to Scotland, see the sights and drive back!

It’s called lack of research, and has no national boundaries.

someone here asked me where I lived before…I said Paris. then France.

answer: “so did you live in Paris or in France?”

huh??

We’ve had people say they’d like to come see us for an afternoon while they’re down in Orlando doing the giant rat thing. Florida’s a big state, and I live a 6-7 hour drive from Orlando.

“so did you live in Paris or in France?”

Francois, that’s good!

My best friend for over 30 yrs grew up in Paris, Ontario. He now lives in Philladelphia, but when I used to tell people “I’m going to Paris for the weekend to see a friend” they would be really impressed.

Francois,

Had a guy in school ask me what the capital of Paris was…he seemed to buy my “France” answer. Another classic was working on a project in Texas and hearing someone ask my Australian buddy:

q: “Do you have any beaches in Australia”?

a: “Just one”

q:“Just one…man that sucks”

…Priceless!

I now seem to live in Africa!
