I wouldn’t want to get beat by any amateurs if I raced as a pro, At what point do you go pro when amateurs are racing this fast?

A buddy of mine was the fastest AG’er at Providence. You guys are silly fast. In terms of AG or pro, it depends on your goals. If you are going top 3 as a pro, then race as a pro. If you are top 10 to 20 overall and fastest AGer, you may get more recognition/press/sponsors. A buddy of mine could have gone pro, but as a coach and with the amount of time required to be competitive, he decided that the recognition as an AG athlete was better than a top 10 pro. He set a couple AG course records, for instance, and would never have come close in the pro division. Either way, it’s a great choice to have to make.
