Am I asking to get hurt if I ride on a cf seat post that is cracked. I just moved the seat up a little and apparently I got a little aggressive on the clamp in the past. I noticed a verticle crack in the post that extends about a 1/2 inch above the clamp. Am I asking to have my ass impaled if I continue to ride with it?
maybe…but are you into that kinda thing?
There are a couple parts of a bike that I would be exta careful with, stems and seatposts. The idea of having a core sample taken of my ass is just so wrong.
it depends… if you would like to be impaled in the ass.
my choice would be no and I would not risk it. if anything even appears to be broke or malfunctioning i replace it immediately. it is not worth the risk.
I saw a post yesterday from you that didn’t make me think you were dumb… an idiot maybe, but not dumb… now do you want to be a dumb idiot?..
I guess I already new the answer. It just pisses me off that I gotta get a new seat post. The damn thing kept slipping so I got a little aggressive tightening things down at some point. Who the hell gets a torque wrench for an allenhead just so they can put on a seat post. I’m gonna try and find an aluminum one and hope my ass forgives me. Maybe a good excuse to go ahead and order the new compact cranks I wanted
The truth hurts sometimes. Dad always told me to find one thing that your good at and do it. However I think I’ll pass on a carbon fiber enema
well now you gotta buy another seatpost, so maybe the torque wrench is not such a bad idea…

.
Best seatpost I ever had was titanium!! I used a Torque Ti for about 18 months, before I sold the bike.
Anal-ease would help. Just a quarter sized dollop on your palm, and…
At least that’s what I heard…
