How do you know if your bike is too big?

 I just bought a 700c road bike after previously riding on a 650c tri-bike.  The road bike feels big.  I think my reach is okay, but I do not have much standover clearance.  Does this matter?

If people aren’t constantly telling you your bike is too small, it is probably too big.

If you can’t reach the pedals, it’s probably too big :slight_smile:

Quick question:

Saddle height, measure from BB - is that vertical, or along the seat post?
