How do you get the air out of your spare tubes?

How do you get the air out of the spare tubes that you carry in your seat bag?? Their taking up to much room!

Suck it! (Really–Just push down on the valve stem with your tongue and suck. Then press your figer against the tube behind the stem to keep any air from leaking back in while you screw the stem down again. Then the tube will be completely flat so you canroll it up and put in in your seat bag. Note–Only works with Presta valves, not Schraeders.)

I am not sure I understand the question. When I buy spare tubes, I generally take the spare out of the box they were packaged in when I bought them and then transfer the tube(s) to a ziploc sandwhich bag filled with a small amount of talcum powder! Now if this is a tube that came off a wheel that was previously inflated, then that tube gets hung up on the wall in the workshop as will admit that I am kind of lazy and will take the easy road if given the choice of a tube fresh out of the box or having to suck the air out of tube.
