How do you add air to a disc if you flat?

It occurred to me that I haven’t thought much about how I would add air to my tube in my new HED Jet disc if I happen to flat. I had to get a crack pipe to use my regular pump since the cut out is pretty tight and limits access to the valve. Would the Xlab Nanoflator work or is there a better suggestion (I have the carbon wing as my bottle holder)?

The XLab works fine.
I do suggest practicing using it before your first race, though. Just waste a CO2 in your hotel room when you’re putting stuff together so you can be confident of the whole process.

If the hole is not large enough for the newer Micro-Inflate to fit you can sand out or cut away some of the carbon so the head will fit. I have done it on several disc’s.

I just use a co2 most come with narrow adapter unless you buy one of those fancy ones with the lever and is sealed which is waste of time works for me.
I have a renn and have a hed and my pump end works on both without crack pipe…

Also I never loan my pump out to someone whos going to use a crack pipe they aren’t meant to cram in the inflation head your actually supposed
to replace the head with the crack pipe inserted in the hose… If you cram it in the inflation head(or whatever its call) you stretch out the washer and it won’t
the seal gets real loose… Luckily my renn disk and my h3c wheels my pump head fits just fine plenty of room I have a performance bike pump with the dual head(schrader, presta) fits just fine… fit my hed disk as well.

or instead of cutting a 1000+ dollar wheel you can just get the sloped head quick fill. http://www.nytro.com/Genuine_Innovations_Microflate_Nano_p/26931.htm
fits a zipp i know for a fact.
