I’m not 100% sure they are all mammals.
Meth is a helluva drug…
Well, the good news is that some of them look like they don’t have any teeth.
When I worked at the prosecutor’s office I never saw a stripper or a prostitute come through that I would have actually wanted to see naked. I’m actually a pretty big fan of the stripper community. But the ones that get involved in the criminal justice system tend to skew heavily towards the ‘please keep you clothes on’ variety.
Someone tell me again how prostitution is a victimless crime.
(Just after typing that, I realized it’s likely to be misinterpreted by a sizable contingent of LR louts. I’m going to leave it there anyhow.)

Of course the actual victims are also the ones we tend to prosecute.

The real actual victim is me. I can’t unsee those pictures.
Have we seen the guys attempting to pick them up? My guess is that you might end up saying “Hmmm, match made in heaven”.
You’re average business man with money is not running down to pick these women up, the guys picking these women up are the ones that are trying to get some in exchange for a KFC 5$ meal.

True, and while that’s probably not optimal, one of the realities we live with is that the criminal justice system is the only effective means of intervention we have to reach some people. If you remove that tool, however blunt it is, in the name of some selfish libertine libertarianism, you essentially abandon women like this to the wild.
What? You don’t like the one with the scabs?

Sweden apparently all but ended prostitution within a few years by revising their tactics. They legalized the selling of sex, but made the buying of sex illegal and aggressively enforced it.
Edit: Here’s a story on it.

I’m not seeing how arresting them does much good. Presumably they’re right back out there doing it again as soon as they’re out of jail, I would imagine the vast majority of the time it’s to support their addiction. That seems just as abandoned as not arresting them if all you’re offering them is the hassle of getting arrested.
It’s pretty bad form for a paper to publish their photos. They obviously have addiction or other issues. One or two of them are not bad looking, just have the meth’ed out look, and could be quite attractive if not in that scene. In my view, prostitution should be legal, but with safeguards to prevent trafficking etc.

Oh damn!
I seem these females at work all of the time. Ick!
if these ladies are providing sexual relief to men whose only other option is rape then they are performing a huge public service. Thank you and carry on.

Really? You think most guys who guy to low-end prostitutes would be rapists otherwise?
I thought rape wasn’t about sex, but power?
Those women look attractive compared to a few of the ones in my area who walk the streets. You have a choice between the old hag who looks like her face was melted with a blowtorch, the scabby faced younger girl who hacks and spits and talks to herself, and the bag of bones native who can’t even walk straight. And they still get picked up all of the time - at least they must because they keep coming back. They have been here for years in the same places.
Having worked with the police going after johns, I can tell you that about 80% of them are white men over 55 who are either fat, poor or really disgusting themselves (or all three) and could never get sex from a regular woman unless they paid for it.

I thought about getting into the power/sex thing in my first response but didn’t – I’m glad you brought it up.
To answer your first point - no, I don’t think most guys who go to low-end prostitutes would be rapists otherwise. But I do think there are a some messed-up or unfortunate men who have no easy access to intercourse. Prostitutes allow them to meet a need that they’d otherwise have to use force to get.
Rape is about power broadly speaking because it is the strong overcoming the weak through menace/violence/force. But the underlying driver is self-entitled sexual release.
Trenton, New Jersey and only 11? That’s no sting. That’s low hanging fruit, man.
My city will bust the Johns and then post their photos. That’s the desperate.
Need to get one of those Bravo reality shows to do a makeover hoe show. Peel some scabs, a ton of make up, nice clothes, i bet you would….
