I noticed this after the first TT in the Giro, and noticed the comment on velonews’ live coverage today and I find it funny how Zabriskie doesn’t have a P3 carbon.
I guess carbon isn’t the end all.
damn I want a P3 so badly now.
He could have one, but he knows that aluminum is faster than carbon.

Pretty simple, he doesn’t get one so that our regular customers can. They will all have one at the Tour.

Hey Gerard - nice meeting you down in Orlando. I saw that someone got to use one of the demo bikes during the race becasue their bike didn’t show up? He didn’t seem too upset about it after the race!

It is amazing how often that happens. There were two in Oceanside, three or four in Disney. In Disney there were also two people who had entered but decided not to race due to injury, then changed their mind when they got to Disney. So they rented two demo bikes. Pretty crazy.
Frame, Smame, how about the cranks on Basso’s bike?! Were those anodized Dura-Ace, or Carbon? Looked like Italian TV wanted to figure it out too, but the web-stream wasn’t clear enough to see. I’m guessing they’re just black anodized, but the whole blak/stealth look was cool - dig the matte black Bell, but that had to be hot.
hahaa I thought the stealth black was cool also. That is why my bike has a bunch of black 105 components.
The P3’s had a good day today!!!
