I am curious if anyone has really ever tested the accuracy of the Garmin 705 for ascent, grade, elevation.
I have compared to GPS is there is a decent amount of difference. For my typical course about 10% difference.
I’ve always found my 705 to be extremely close. The 310 is another story. I think the 310 calculated almost 8,000 feet of climbing at IMLOU, but I think it was actually closer to 5,000-6,000.
