I NEED to get back to campus and visit. I grew up right outside Madison, but have no family there anymore, so I don’t get up there as often. I’m going to try and get up there in June. Ultimate goal is to make at least one football game this fall.
The basketball team was the worst of the worst when I was in school, and they still played in the Fieldhouse…not as many students were interested in basketball, what with the football team getting really good (and winning a rose bowl the year after I graduated). Hockey was big, too, but it was still out at the Dane County Coliseum, so it was hard to go see.
Anyway, I had a class with Michael Finley, who was about the only decent basketball player UW had the whole four years I was in school.
Last year I was lucky to see the Badgers win the Big Ten Tourney, which was here in Indianapolis. Good times!

Badger fan here (born and raise in Wisconsin) but, a Purdue grad. So … ah … just curious … which Big 10 teams are in the Sweet 16???
