I currently live in a house in Boulder, at the north end of town (Dakota Ridge neighborhood). It’s arguably the best place to be in town in terms of access to running trails and sweet cycling roads. There are 4 of us in the house, and our lease expires at the end of August. 2 guys are leaving, and 2 of us want to stay in the house. However, we need 2 more roommates because it’s a 4-bedroom place, and monthly rent for the house is $2500. The rent is split up based on room size (I currently have the “small room”, and pay $475 per month).
I’m a full-time triathlete, and the other guy who wants to stay works IT for CU. It’d be great to get another full-time athlete or two in the house. However, you’d have to be willing to sign a 12-month lease (Sep 1, 2009 - Sep 1, 2010). Male/Female doesn’t matter. Just looking for someone who is good for rent, who is easy to get along with, and who loves getting out on the trails/roads.
The house is awesome. Not sure of square footage, but it’s plenty big with tons of space for 4 people. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, granite countertops, sweet front porch, big garage (which has become my bike workshop!), and a hot tub in the backyard.
I realize the potential sketchiness of finding roommates on an internet message board, so I’ll want to email/talk several times before making any decisions.
