Fleck will be all over this

The contest is over…Sergio’s ASICS win!!!

Stay away from this!

We know why you like Sergio and the rest of the guys from my crew, we all run on BOUGHT DS Trainers!

Damn, Sergio runs MARATHONS in those!!! I really like those shoes, but I don’t know if my feet could handle a marathon in them. Of course, my marathons seems to take a lot longer than Sergio’s…

I’ll nominate my DS Trainers, mainly because right now they have hot pink easy-laces in them.

“Bought DS-Trainers”? That’s the funniest thing you’ve ever said…I’m going to the pool. Think about what’ve just said. I want an apology when I get back.

LOL… what I meant was that before we met you, we were already running in Asics that we had bought. Of course now everyone here thinks that you give shoes to every single athlete I coach! Man, you’ll be drowning in sponsorship requests

Macca also ran in them, so I guess it makes DS Racers the FAST choice of the day

hey Shawn,

what would you compare Saucony Fastwitch Endurance to? I like mine, but they need to be replaced soon. I was training in saucony Hurricanes, but I really like the Nimbus VII, so I was curious what the Asics equivilant would be.

I guess ASICS are always fast, specially if Sergio is wearing them!!

Ha Ha!

I tend to be shoe agnostic - don’t really care as long as it’s the right shoe for me( neutral, cushioned) and it fits.

I have a closet full of various brands and shoes from my days of sponsorship and pro-deals( Alas, gone now). I have been running so little these last few years due to back problems that the shoes seem to last forever.

With all due respect to SAC, the Gel Magic Racers are much cooler. Mine are red/silver and I love them, only wish they had the split tounge of my old gel litespeeds. Oh and they came from ShawnF, though money did change hands.

What ever shoes this guy’s wearing

I live my Saucony Grid statics, although my latest edition, the Brooks T4 felt pretty hot a short treadmill jaunt today.

Hey!! Could you at least look at his running shoes for once?? This tread is about running shoes, not Sergio…

If I get shoes like that will I run 2:51 in Kona?

See…Sergio was sooooo confident in his running (because he was running in ASICS DS Racers of course) that he did the whole run holding his digital camera to take pictures of his victims and other stuff he thought were cool on the run course…

I even heard that the digital camera he is holding (no no…it’s not a fuel belt bottle, I saw sergio before the race, he was hesitant…‘dig cam, fluids?..hmmm…digital camera’) is also made by ASICS (it’s a prototype, not yet available). The one he is holding is a trainer though…a lighter racing model will be available soon.

You’ve heard it here first.

The new Vitruvians, for training.

For pure running Nike XC, the spikeless.

According to the Slowtwit “experts”, running an IM marathon in flats is foolish.

Guess nobody told Macca and Sergio.

For most people, it is foolish because most people are not actually running their marathon. They are jogging/shuffling/walking and therefore have no business wearing racing flats.

Sergio and Macca on the other hand are actually running.
