Surprisingly many people think that about Fernanda because she comes across as aloof. Actually she is quite shy and her English good but not great. I know it’s hard to think of someone who wears a thong and two bandaids for a top as shy but that’s the Brazilian way. She really is a sweet woman.
I’m still a Heather Fuhr man myself, but Lisa Bentley can have a shot at me, too. Sad to say though, once girls get to IronWoman status; when they put on the caps / helmets / visors, gogles / sunglasses and pull the hair back they all kind of look alike. Sure PNB has the junkyard of earrings, Fernanda has her thong, and natascha has her silly smile, but after that … on har day, I couldn’t pick 'em out of a lineup.

I met Wendy at the Chicago Triathlon last year. Not only is she looking great but what a nice down to earth person. I would have to second your vote. She was at a triathlete talk with Dave Scott and when asked about the “4th event” called transitions,she responded that she thought the 4th event was sex after the race. Appropriate nickname, Wingnut. Add a great sense of humor to her good attributes.

I am the hottest Ironman. But I’m not going to stoop to posting “beefcake” pictures on the internet. I’m comfortable in my own skin and I don’t need validation from the likes of YOU people. 
I doubt any of the pros would come close to some of the amateurs I’ve seen, particularly among the men. Males pros must be very very thin and as a conseqence they tend to look a bit, well, underfed.
I’ve seen so many drop dead gorgeous amateur women I couldn’t possibly compare them. The female pros are very nice looking as a group, but none of them would be Ms. America.
All in all I’d say healthy IS beautiful and the bottom line is that once you get past the face and body there is a large distance to travel to connect with anyone.
