Hotels in Boulder

GOing to Boulder in a couple of weeks and wanted to get some ideas on nice hotels in the area. DOn’t want to spend a fortune, butson’t want to stay in a dump either.

Thanks.

there’s a Holiday Inn Express right at the north end of town…good neighborhood, newly developed, with a nice coffeeshop (cyclist hangout), bike shop, bakery, pizzeria, and plenty of prime riding right out the door. Even walking distance to the town’s only ‘gentlemen’s club’.

The Boulderado is a classic. Old West styling right off downtown. A couple of good restraunts. Expensive, but not crazy. Highly recommended.

I stayed at a Marriott Courtyard when I was there in June. Easy to get to. On Pearl a mile (maybe 2) east of downtown. Very close to the Y, and another club with a swimming pool.

Stayed at the Milenium hotel a couple of years ago. They had a lap swim pool. It was right next to the bike path. Shopping center next door had a performance bike shop plus a bike rental place that rented road and tri bikes. Hotel provided a complimentary breakfast (huge, with everything). It was perfect. Very near CU.

If you are interested in a Bed and Breakfast, we have stayed at the Alps Boulder Canyon Inn and really enjoyed it.

It is right at the end of the trail that heads up Boulder Canyon - about 2 miles out of town.
