The carbon sole of the rocket 7s are very thin, does anyone know if this can contritbute to hot spots. I use look keo and recently started getting burning pain in my foot, really annoying, your feet should not hurt more than your legs when riding! What type of shoes can help with this?? I did a search and found some found relief with met pads? WHere do you get these and can someone explain where to put them? What abour running shoes, stiff /stable shoes or cushion?

My bike shoes are custom rocket 7’s with orthotics so they should have fit perfectly. I discovered it was the old, cheap, loose cotton socks I was wearing that were contributing to my hot spots. Switched the socks to something good that didn’t slide around and no more hot spots.
I use good socks and most of the time go sockless. My shoes are very loose, i can slide my fot side to side. can anyone recommend a good shoe for hot spots?
