I have to spend 2 weeks in Hopkinton, Rhode Island for work. (Monday - Friday)
Does anyone have any experience out there for Safe places to ride or places that are common to see cyclists?
Also some suggestions for places to Run would be great.

Wow, Hopkinton? Really? For work? For two weeks? It’s ok, my parents live in Hopkinton, so did I in High School. Its just really kind of random to see on ST. Depending on where you are (I don’t think there’s a hotel/motel in Hopkinton), if you can get to 91 you have good pavement and a large shoulder with little traffic. 91 takes you from Westerly to Charlestown. My favorite bike route was always 91N to 112E, 112E to 2E, 2E to 1, then 1S back to 91 or 1N as far as I want to go. I’ve ridden half the state from Hopkinton, so you can really make it up as you go along this way. Look it up on Mapquest and you’ll get a better idea of what to look for. Plus drivers are somewhat desensitized to seeing cyclists on this route. For running, depends again on where you are. Lots of runners around the neighborhoods, no so many along main roads. Let me know where you’re staying and I can make better suggestions, I’m very familiar with the area and have spent hours and hours training there. It’s great for training and I always bring my bike or running shoes back to my parents just to go through the old routes. Wow, small world.
