There is a company Sheps http://www.schepsbakeries.com/ that makes the original stroopwafels here in Ontario, And I can buy in our local supermarket which they supply to for $3.00 a pack of 6. They are so good! but still not as good as the ones I get from the Netherlands!!
I buy these as well. Significantly cheaper than Honey Stinger. Though I find tougher to eat on the bike. They are loaded with syrup which makes them pretty gooey so not so easy to swallow. One benefit of being gooey is that they’re harder to drop. Honey Stinger break apart easier and I drop pieces way too often!
