We have a group of 3-4 guys looking to drive down from Niagara Falls (Canada) down to Niceville for the Bluewater Bay Duathlon. We did this a few years back, and it was a wicked trip.
I was wondering if anyone who lives around that area (Niceville, Pensacola, Ft Walton…) would be able to throw us a couple of couches or some floorspace to crash on for a few days. The race day is Feb 21, 2015. We would likely be coming up Wednesday night before the race. We are all poor students who just want to race during the off season… Too much snow to even ride outdoors in Canada in February.
We will bring maple syrup and poutine to spread the Canadian spirit around
Any help at all is much appreciated! Even if it is for only a night or two!
Were you there for the rained out race? If so one of the fellow canadians that did the 5km with you. (wore the triathlon canada suit)
I am actually down in Panama City Beach for the winter. Full house, but will keep my eyes open for you guys for cheap or free accomodation. Just for the weekend?
