Home remedies who's got em?

Apple cider vinegar removes warts. I tried it it worked. Pros it works, insanely cheap compared OTC remedies, cons- you smell like vinegar. I’d put it on in the evenings when I came home (the gf didnt care for it), visible results in about 10-14 days.

I have recently started brushing my teeth with sodium bicarbonate after brushing them with regular toothpaste. It is supposed to be a whitening agent. To soon to tell if my teeth are whiter, however, they do feel smoother than when I just brush alone and it seems that my “morning breath” has pretty much disappeared.

What have you got that you have tried?

Up front I’ll say this sounds weird and I don’t know why it works, but… Crest toothpaste for burns. The really nagging kitchen burns can be soothed away by smearing a little Crest on the spot. Cools the whole area down and numbs it.

Headaches:

Using your thumb and index finger of one hand, pinch the portion between the thumb and index finger on the other hand (behind the thin skin, back into the thickest meaty part - pinch hard enough as to almost be uncomfortable) and hold. Certain types of headaches seem to respond in my (and others’) experience. Relief is not permanent, but the severity decreases and the response to repeat applications is usually effective when it works at all. Same principle as accupuncture & other nerve stimulus theories, I suppose.
