I should provide context by saying I love the FF franchise. I even enjoy Tokyo Drift. Mindless entertainment that embraces its own ridiculousness.
Hobbs was a great character addition when showed up in FF. I personally didn’t find Deckard Shaw to be the same, but I do like Jason Statham. But not as much as The Rock. Having now watched H&S I don’t think they needed a spinoff movie. It felt superfluous to me. It tried way too hard.
