I’m glad I’m not the only slightly odd person that moos at cows as well.
Yep, I moo at cows. Did that once passing a farm and lo and behold, the farmer was there, laughing his head off when he heard me!
I make goat noises at the goats, neigh to the horses, cluck at the chickens and so on.
I do 99% of my training on my own so it breaks up the ride a bit 
Seriously, I also make noises at all the farm animals when I see them too. I even do it when other people are around.
Try barking next time, in a Cattle Dog accent. Taht’s what I do.

Well, a Sheepdog accent doesn’t do much when you encounter cattle 
A bulldog accent will work in a pinch.

My stepdad had a Blue heeler for his farm - cattle and horses. That dog could rustle well.
When I told him I was chased by a cow, he couldn’t stop laughing.
Then asked WTF was I doing trying to pass a cow on my bike.
I’m thinking not much is going to stop a cow from chasing ya.
Sadly, I don’t think I’m north of 7, because I don’t get that. . .
7 is a highway that runs from Ottawa, through small towns, to Peterborough and past.
Madoc has a not so good reputation about sheeps and bad things.
It gets called Maaaaadoc often.
Ah ok. Well, I don’t live in Canada at all, much less that part of it.
Of course, I am from upstate NY, which the rest of the US seems to think is part of Canada. . . and would probably fit right in with Madoc!
For the record, I’ve spent many a bike ride moo-ing at cows, though I always check to make sure there’s no one around first!
