Hip Surgeon Referral

ST community - just wondering if you all had any suggestions for a hip surgeon in the Seattle - Portland area (perhaps even as far south as CA)?

Ideally - works with athletes; obviously great outcomes preferred; works with older athletes that are working to maintain a high level of function and activity.

This is for a friend of mine who is primarily a cyclist.

go to sampson at post street ortho is SF, he developed hip preservation surgery and has done many pro athletes

Sampson is awesome- he did my hip in 2011.
He is doing hip surgery on two different friends of mine in March.
