Hill reps in Boulder?

Anybody know of a good hill for 60-90 sec hill reps? I’m looking for 6-10% grade, not too much traffic, etc. Preferably on the NE side of Boulder. Thanks!

Mt Sanitas (it’s “low road”) for running (enter at trailhead just above 4th and Mapleton); and, for cycling, you can find any grade on Olde Stage.

Thanks - I should have specified this for running reps. It is a trail or a road-type surface?

its a dirt path about 5’ across.

if you’re looking for a road surface, the hill up to NCAR is great. take Table mesa road west, you’ll see where it starts.

NE boulder is flat amigo.

Kidding… you could try Teller Farm’s North Trailhead (on valmont) and head towards lookout/gunbarrel mesa… the trail weaves it’s way up the side.

I missed that NE part. I gave you SW… oops.

Teller farm has a good hill about 2mi in. If you’re in the gunbarrel area, starting in heatherwood, you can run up that hill to the water tower. That will hook up to teller farm too. the trail can start at clubhouse rd (i think) and 75th. theres a bus stop on the open space side and you’ll see the trail right there. nice little warm up to the bottom of the hill. Flat dirt the whole way.

like boulder is sooo huge that you can’t go from one side of town to the other in 10-15 min.
