In a great introduction to Slowtwitch, I’m going to jack this thread.
I’m at Alabama getting a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and am now at the point where I need to pick a concentration. What didn’t YOU like about PT. I’ve been through two different rounds of it and actually became good friends with my PT,err OT. I need to find something to pay the bills when I get done and it seems like an interesting field. I understand dealing with hurt/unmotivated/bitchy people, but both times I was in PT there were some people who made some unbelievable progress and even my stupid self could see some satisfaction in that.
I think my other options would be to try to get in PA school or cardiac rehab or maybe an outside shot with the athletic department here.
