I recently aquired a Hi-E front hub. It’s pretty light but the bearings have seen better days. First off, does anyone know how to change bearings in this hub? Second, are bearings spec from a better bearing shop? Thanks, T
NICE NICE Hubs…did you get the see through ones? You can get the bearings at a bearing shop…there is one in the city I live called “Motion Industries” that had ABEC9 bearings for my Zipp 909. If you do buy the bearings make sure that you get ABEC3 or better if you want that really smooth ride. When I got mine the guy at the counter tried to tell me that all I need was “precision bearings” for a bike.
Any idea how to swap out the bearings? Not sure how to remove them. T
