Why were’t you in Chicago this weekend? I saw Alejandro Escovedo Saturday night and Ozomatli Sunday night in the park…
I choose to spend my weekends avoiding America’s finest cities and new and intersting music. Instead I sit at home, eat microwave burritos, and try to mend my broken heart by being angry at the world saying Chris Farley was the new John Belushi.
Chris Farley was so awesome.
Tommy Boy still cracks me up.
fat guy in a little coat… fat guy in a little coat
Please tell me your lying. I still would love to stay your brother.
Chris Farley was the new John Belushi.
Mr Belushi–remember that time that you made that movie where you played Jake Blues, and you got out of prison, and you and Elwood Blues, played by Dan Ackroyd put your blues band back together to pay the property taxes on the orphanage where you grew up, and you had all those great blues musicians in it, guys like Ray Charles, Lou “Blue Lou” Marini, Donald “Duck” Dunn, Tom “Bones” Malone, Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway, and all those other guys, and you had that great car chase down Wacker Drive where you destroyed all those cop cars, and Carrie Fisher was trying to kill you with a bazooka, and an M-16 and all that other stuff, and Elwood had an apartment right by the Ell?
Yes.
That was awesome!
How dare you. To think I was going to make you king of the winter ball.
Belushi had a lot more range, but Farley went over-the-top better than any fat-ass fall-down comic ever.
Plus he was a really nice guy with big self-esteem problems, so you can’t be mean to him. ![]()
You can hate David Spade if you want, but how can a brother hate on Chris Farley? That guy was a sweetheart.
“Brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta HUG!!!”
