Hey JSA, you watching the Big 10 Championship game?

This fight is as fair as Janay and Ray.

Not anymore. But, I thought it would be a blow-out. I was stunned that WI is favored. How the hell can OSU have 3 QBs that could start at almost any Div I school and WI cannot find a guy who can hit the broad side of a barn??? Stave could not even walk-on as waterboy at OSU.

TCU can say bye-bye to the playoffs after this debacle.

When he missed the field with the pass to the wide open guy I’m betting the Brown’s management team called his agent.

Ha!

You flipping around at all? KSU - Baylor is pretty good … until that last TD by Baylor. Baylor Def Coordinator, Phil Bennett, was the Def Coordinator for KSU while I was stationed at Fort Riley. His wife went out for a jog and was struck by lightening. I actually was running that same day and saw the police and rescue, but, did not know what happened. His wife never regained consciousness and passed. Bill Snyder spent every night at the hospital with Bennett. His wife took in Bennett’s young kids. They did a special today and Bennett’s daughter said Snyder saved their family. Bill Snyder is 123 years old, but, really is an amazing man.

I am pulling for GT, but, looks like FSU is getting it together.

That’s why I’ve got the laptop out. That way I can keep track of every game.

All season I’ve thought OSU didn’t belong in the playoff. Now I can’t see how TCU belongs in instead of them.

Let’s go Tech!

I thought the same thing until recently. OSU squared away its D and its O is just a machine.

I think FSU could beat TCU and Baylor. But, I really do not think FSU could beat OSU, Oregon, or Bama. I swear the selection committee is pulling for G.Tech tonight.

Most of the country is pulling for Ga Tech tonight.

Most of the country is pulling for Ga Tech tonight.

I want to see FSU win so they can get a spot in the playoffs that another team deserves. Then I want to see them lose in a blowout. Maybe someday we can get a legitimate 8 or 16 team playoff. There are at least 6 teams that can claim to be worthy of only 4 slots. That is a system that sucks

How can they have 3 qb’s that good? I gave them zero chance with a 3rd string QB. Glad I didn’t put any money down

It’s better than the alternative. ESPN ran the BCS numbers and, right now, it would be FSU v Bama.

Of the top six teams, OSU is 4, Baylor is 5 and FSU is 6. FSU will get their asses handed to them in the playoff games if the committee puts them at the 4 seed.

I’m going to make a prediction Braxton Miller plays very little if at all next season for OSU unless he has some kind of miraculous improvement in not only his accuracy, but his decision making in the passing game. JT was not just a little bit better than Miller when passing he was demonstrably better and ran Urban’s offense in a completely different gear. In obvious passing situations last years Braxton vs the 2nd half of the season JT…I’d take JT in a second no matter what the scenario.

I might even go with Cardale over Braxton…hard to tell too much from last night about how great he might be, but it’s more what he didn’t do than what he did IMO. The passes he threw weren’t exceptionally difficult throws, but he didn’t do anything really dumb and for a young kid to come in under that kind of pressure in the BT champ game? Whew. The improvement of OSU this season was on a near vertical trajectory just scary.

I will poop my shorts if OSU isn’t in the 4 slot.

That’s the key. Cardale Jones is freakishly talented, he’s humongous, with one of the strongest arms in the country, and who moves really well. He’s also a guy who didn’t academically qualify out of high school and then publicly stated once he got to OSU that he didn’t come there to play school. He’s not the smartest individual and he has a tendency (going back to his days at Glenville High) of bad decision-making. He had a great game yesterday, but guarantee Meyer does not have confidence that he won’t be a wreck the next game; he wasn’t a winner in high school and that was on the most talented team in the state by a country mile. Meyer is picking Barrett and Miller over him any day.

I wasn’t aware of his history of mOraNs…could be interesting if they get in.

You think Urban opens up the QB position for competition in the spring? When I look back at how pathetic Miller was in the champ game last year under big time pressure and what JT Barrett grew to from the VTech loss to where he was last week. Whew…I’d be hard pressed to just throw the playbook back at Miller ‘just because’. Miller’s passing was adequate as long as the run game was ballistic. Barrett’s passing is great coming out throwing on 1st down.

Smoke is that Barrett is the starter and Miller is looking for a new home (maybe South Carolina or Oregon). I personally am not sure he leaves, he has a kid and probably knows he isn’t an NFL prospect anyways (at least at QB), why leave the home school?

That is going to be interesting for him if he goes to play with Spurrier b/c he has Lorenzo Nunez from coming in from Kennesaw and kid is a FREAK of speed and can throw. Not sure what Oregon has in the pipeline, but I won’t be surprised if this freshman gets the job for Spurrier. Urban Meyer was all over Nunez trying to get him up to Columbus. Mitch is not an option for success for SC.
