So how come you are riding on a flat road and not on your aerobars? ![]()
Looks like a great day to be racing though - how did you do?

Are those Nike Poggio II shoes you are wearing? I want a pair and can get them for about half price, in your opinion are they worth buying for tri’s?
damn! you’re bigger than me.
NIce pic. get it framed.
…and you have dropped all of the other riders. Either that or you are going so slow that a whole wave start is about to overtake you at the same time. Since they are blurred, and your are in focus, I suspect the latter
In fact, I hope you pulled off the road to avoid injury to yourself and others.
You never fail to give me at least one good laugh per day! Pretty funny Monk!
Yurtie - great pic! I agree you should get it framed.
D.
Why is everone riding on the WRONG side of the road? Or should I turn my monitor upside down? -![]()
Your riding on the wrong side of the road! Congrats! How was the race?

I believe Yurtie is on the “Back” portion of the “Out and Back”
(Of course, he might also be on the “Out”, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt)
Edited to add: *** Um. Rand. It’s Oz, dumbass!!!***
LOL!!
OK OK. Just to clarify…
a) I’m not riding on the aerobars because I’m heading uphill into a bastard headwind.
b) The Poggio shoes are great but a little soft on the heel. I did a review of them for cyclingnews so if you head to the tech page you’ll find it.
c) Oh contraire funbags! I’m riding on the correct side of the road.
d) The photo was taken before the turnaround point. The people in the left side of the pic are in front of me but several were chased down. Unfortunately several were never seen again. The people behind me did not pass me. No one was passing me at this stage.
e) It was a great race. Highly recommended especially for competitors with young families as there is plenty to do in Busselton. It’s a fast course but it was windy with a capital F.
