Watch out tri-world. Another Thomson has caught the tri-bug! (Just posting this because some of you took a liking to my cousin back when I published my Cali Race report… ahem… Parkito…) ** Howdy Jodi, I just did the Imperial Beach Duathlon yesterday and won my age and place second in the women’s overall. It was super fun! I also just joined a Masters Triathlon program and spent my first day in the pool this afternoon. And despite the distressed look on the coach’s face when I told her that I’ve never swum laps in a pool before, she gave me some super helpful tips and technique advice, and I was paddling away like a fish by the end of the session. Needless to say, I’ll need some gear … any advice on what type of wetsuit I should buy? ** The girl is a flippin all star! So what say you, ST. What kind of wetsuit should she buy? Any good advice out there for new swimmers starting triathlon? **

I think there were times my head started to spin, fire came out my ears and small children ran in fear out of my neighborhood when I was training hard. The one thing I don’t miss about training is my total loss of emotional stability during peak weeks. No one was immune to my wrath!

First, let me remind you that I am a happily married man.
Second, why do you have to keep posting that picture. It is highly distracting. Smart, physically fit, attractive brunettes. I can only assume you are both brown eyed. Enough already.
Growing up, it was the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Natalie Woods. Then there were others, Dana Delaney, Ashley Judd in her auburn moments. Serves me right for marrying a green eyed blonde.
Third, something about demure looking females riding motorcycles, an activity I have never picked up, has an amazing addictive effect. Must learn to control.
Lastly, your cousin sound like a natural. Fleck is an outstanding individual and I highly appreciate his posts, comments and responses on this forum. However, just between you, me and the fence post, De Soto T1 is the way to go.
