just wanted to say thanks to both you guys for being out there at the State Park cheering people on.
great meeting you both. hope you had safe trips home.
miami79-feel free to ask any more questions about living/housing market up here
herbert-if you are looking for something to do with that xsmall wetsuit, do remember i am a few pounds smaller than Francois :-). I am just joking, that’s probably too small for me…
You’re welcome! Glad we got to see you… you were looking great and had a huge smile! Congrats on a tremendous race. You should be very proud. And thanks for riding with me on Wednesday, too!
I won’t tell you who, but we ran into another STer out there (you know who you are) who had an encounter with some burrs. We spend a few minutes removing them from his behind…
I too would like to give a big shout out to Herbert and Miami!
Herbert is a class guy. I met him for the first time while having icecream after the ST dinner. The next day I stopped by the DS tent and he treated me as if I were a pro he had known for years.
Hopefully someday I can afford to buy Litespeed from him.
BTW, the new Ghissalo (sp?) is one SICK BIKE! I was able to pick up a fully built bike by the seat post with one arm extended straight and then twist my wrist left and right with almost no effort
Hey, congrats to you on a fine time. I am sorry tht you missed Kona.
Me: 10:53, an overall okay time, but very disappointing to me.
Swim: my usual, 1:14
Bike: held way back and averaged 157 watts and a HR of 135. Time was 5:19
Run: this is where all went wrong. I was running well until mile 8 when I began to have bad abdominal cramps. This set off a walk-run cycle that resulted in a 4:14 run.
