Was just fiddling with my Hed Alps rear wheel; was about to go out for a ride with it’s new disc cover.
Discovered the cassette was very loose-not the lockring, but side to side play.
How do you adjust Hed axles? There is no allen bolt provision. Do you need to remove the cassette to get at the innards?
Any advice is appreciated.

Not a direct response to your question, but I thought I would poach on your Hed Hub topic. I cracked my rim on an almost brand new Hed Alps rear (shudder!) about two years ago. I saved the hub thinking I would rebuild it, but ended up getting a different rear wheel instead. I figured the hub was worth something, and planned to rebuild and sell, but never got around to it and it sits in my garage. Let me know if you need a replacement, or if anyone else needs a hub, PM me.
