HELP--Swapping Sram Red 22 cranks for Sram Red 22 Quarq

Firt attempt at this, but it looks like all I need is a 10mm hex on the drivetrain side (bb30 version). Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.

You should only need 1 hex wrench. On the GXP version you need an 8mm hex to loosen and tighten the inner bolt.There is an outer piece that can be removed with a 10mm hex but you do not need to touch that to remove or install the crank.

I would think the bb30 cranks are the same, but i’ve only dealt with GXP so it could be slightly different.

Gxp is 8 mm in nds, bb30 is 10 on DS. Thats all.

You’ll probably want a soft mallet as well. My BB30 takes several solid whacks to overcome the tight fit through the bearings.
