I’m trying to save certain clips from movies to a power point presentation from several DVDs. I’m on a Mac os x. Can someone help walk me through this PLEASE!?

It’s likely a 3 step process (you may need some software try macupdate.com)
- get movie off DVD - handbrake and VLC
- edit and save clips - iMovie
- add to ppt … This last step has posed me the biggest hurdle in the past
