Help! - real basic MS Excel question re password

Hey all,

I’m dealing with an Excel spreadsheet (I’m using Excel 2007) that someone password protected. I have the password, so that’s not an issue. What I’d like to do is remove the password protection altogether.

Is there a simple fix to this problem?

Edit: I’ve googled it and all I seem to get are hits re software that crack passwords. Hopefully there’s a better solution…

Go to tab called tools.

Select “protection”

Select “Unprotect”

Enter password when prompted.

Done
