A friend of mine passed from brain cancer the end of last year and before he got really sick he had bought a 2005 Colnago C50 paint # PR11 in a sz.61. I am trying to help is wife find a home for it but we have been told a wide range of what the bike is worth. He only rode the bike a few times so it is in like new condition.

Great bike, but a tough one to sell (esp the size). I’d start with your LBS as they often can move special bikes that this and can help. If going for maximum money, parting it out and ebay (lots of hassle this way) is best with that build spec. Lots of Campy/Colnago lovers that comb ebay. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
Thanks for the help and concern for my friend. The LBS were not too helpful so that is why I posted here. I know he spent a lot of money when he bought it, but resale now is the question. If anyone has a ball park please let me know.
If selling the whole bike, you are limited by size, but for the right buyer, I’d think $3,500 for a used bike would be reasonable. Could net more via ebay though. Doubt this would be a Craigslist type post.
